We have raised around £2,200 from our flagship event including; Raffle £507, Auction £307 & Bunker or Water penalties £96
Held on the windiest day that anyone had ever played golf in, both teams battled against the elements and decided that the course was victorious! However, despite some heroic efforts 'especially by Tibble & Costick' our team trails by 4 points at half time. £83.50 raised for Charity.(2nd Leg on 31st August, in guaranteed blazing hot sunshine on a calm day)

With a last minute change of venue and some glorious weather, the inaugural match against the Crown Inn was yet another excellent and well supported event. With the splendid new team apparel on show, it's a pity we didn't quite play as well as we looked! (2nd Leg on 3rd August)

In a gripping final, refereed by Geoff Goater with official scoring by Ron Wilkinson, they came back from 3 down against Nick Mussell & Mart Stanton with a series of 'amazing' putts from Mac.

Despite outstanding performances by our lower teams, we find ourselves 3-5 down after the first leg of our match against the Hampshire Stragglers. All matches were very close but only Mike & Roy and Mart & Ron gained wins. Dave & Geoff and JJ & Dave gained credible draws.
